Service Portal for Debtors
We see ourselves as a reliable intermediary between you and your creditor, who has commissioned us to collect claims. Our aim is not only to represent the interests of our client unilaterally, but also to remain open to your concerns and suggestions at all times. The goal is to find a solution for the benefit of all those involved.
Since we specialise in the energy, telecommunications and new media sectors, we are also able to explain to you the reasons for which claims have arisen (technical, organisational and legal) should you require us to do so. It is often the case that we can give you advice on how to avoid collection warnings in the future.
Mail from EWD Collection
If you have received a letter from us, this means that a client has approached us and instructed us to collect an open claim against you.
As a general rule, you will have received at least one reminder from the client owing to a delayed payment.
Transparency for all Parties Involved
In order to fulfil our task as an intermediary as best as possible, we explain in our written warning how the claim that our client has raised against you arose. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us!
Our letters contain an exact statement of claims to enable you to recognise quickly and easily how the total claim is composed. The total claim consists of the main claim, with which we were commissioned to assert, any expenses incurred by our client before the claim was handed over to us for collection, accrued interest on arrears and the costs of our claim. The latter are usually cheaper than the costs that would have been incurred if our client had not called us but a lawyer instead.
Understanding for Every Life Circumstance
Only if our out-of-court efforts fail can additional costs arise, namely, court and legal costs as well as forced execution costs.
In order to avoid this, we advise that payments be made in a timely manner. If this is not possible for financial reasons, you can, for example, arrange to pay us in installments.
Please feel free to contact us with your concerns. We will work with you to find a solution!
